This order of custom fridge magnets and postcards was for Coast Mental Health in Vancouver. These items were mailed off as thank you’s to their supporters. The customer also requested us to attach the magnets to the postcards.
How do we attach magnets to postcards? We add a sticky dot to the postcard and then place the magnet over the dot (this process is called gum tipping). Once the magnet is taken off the postcard, the sticky dot can easily be removed. Gum tipping is a great way to attach fridge magnets or plastic cards to postcards, letters and much more.
The postcard size for this order is 5″x7″, printed on 120lb glossy card stock. The custom fridge magnets are 2 1/2″ square, 28 mil thick with a glossy laminated surface. Both items were digital printed in full color (CMYK).
